Welcome to new members

Hi,

I received a complaint from a newly signed member that the list is too
quiet. Therefore I sent off the flurry of mail a little while ago.
Obviously, we all need time to respond and to gear ourselves for the
debates that lie ahead. So that's OK.

I wanted to send out this message to welcome new members who have signed
up in the last couple of days, taking our subscribed number to 24. The
number indicates a lot of interest. I think that we should have about 50
signups by the 8th May, one month after the list started.

I will be sending out an administrative message once in a while (details
are being worked out). However, in the meanwhile two things need to be
made known:

How to find out who is subscribed to this list:

with the body containing the message:
		who india_policy

How to unsubscribe:

Each of us have our own belief systems, commitments and constraints. If at
any time, you feel uncomfortable being in this list for any reason, please
automatically unsubscribe yourself by sending mail to
majordomo@cinenet.net with the following message on the body:

	unsubscribe india_policy YOUREMAIL-ADDRESS-HERE

Please request your friends who might be interested, to subscribe, and
also please see if you can contribute a point or two which might be
incorporated in an ideal manifesto/agenda.
