Hi friends,

India_policy is now a one-week old baby. Not yet babbling away, mostly
sleeping ...

This is to welcome new members to this list (we have 28 now) and to let
the others know that the web archive is likely to be ready by tomorrow.
That will help new members (and other, non-members) to browse the
discussions directly off the web on any particular topic.

An administrative mail will be sent out to the group in due course, but in
the meanwhile, for the benefit of the newly joined members, the following
minimum instructions are being placed (others will please forgive the
repetitive nature of these instructions: ideally, one should have these
instructions sent off to people as they register, but this project is
under development ..., and one must thank Suresh Rajagopalan for sparing
the time from his busy schedule to set up this list, the archive, etc.)
