Dear friend:
People cannot change their mindset easily. The problem of people living
without homes is to get used to street life, to live in a home is
uncomfortable as it is for those who have homes to live on streets,
camps,
as for refugees, quake victims, etc.If the government cares for its
citizens
whose vote they get to come for power then it is obligatory on the part
of
the govt. to provide homes for the homeless. My own experience of
dealing
with Ministries dealing with housing for the poor is very disappointing,
the
reason I am participating in this debate.
Regarding advertising Gods. This is the latest business. to export gods,
to
import gods - all part of globalization of econmy and why not, what
sells
creates a market! This is why people fed up of religious commercials,
become
rationalists!
As far as we have the poor, the slums florishing in unsanitary
environments,
the life of all others are at stake - the need to be concerned for
removal
of poverty or reducing its dimensions. Henry.
