I find it ironic to see Leftists championing free speech, when they were

heavily against the Prasar Bharati act, which helped to emancipate media

from state control.

But more importantly, I feel that the cronyist inbred Indian media needs
to
face the rejuvenating effect of foreign competition, which will shake
them
out of their stupor.
