UP Police Constable Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates are required to pass Class 10+2 (Intermediate) from recognized board.
- Applicants shall be not less than eighteen years at time of application.
- For men, the age limit for candidates is 22 years while for women it is 25.
- The reserved category candidates can apply as with age relaxation according to the laws of Uttar Pradesh government.
- Applicants should be Indian citizens and must be domiciled in Uttar Pradesh.
- Applicants of ST category (Male) should not be less than 160 cms and for the applicants of General, OBC SC categories ( Male candidates) are easily seen below that they need minimum height as 168 cm.
- The minimum height required for female candidates in General/ OBC/ SC category is 152 cm and it is 147 cm for ST females.
- The chest measurements of the male ST candidates must be between 77 cm to 82 cm, while that for the male applicants checking under the General/OBC/SC has to measure from 79cm and not exceeding 84 cm.
- Female candidates are not to do the chest measurement.
- For men, the Physical Efficiency Test involves covering 4.8 kms in 25 minutes.
